NEWARK REBRAND

Bloomberg Associates teamed up with the city of Newark to help rebrand the city with a fresh
and upbeat logo design. The goal was to create a design that reflects Newark’s unique identity
as a city that is proud, hopeful for the future, and a growing hub for the arts and businesses.
The logo will be featured prominently on print assets throughout the city.

BLOOMBERG x HARVARD

Bloomberg’s Center For Cities builds upon the success of the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative, a collaboration between Bloomberg Philanthropies, Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business School, and will strengthen the capabilities of mayors and their teams, advance effective organizational practices in city halls around the world, support a new generation of public servants as they encounter unprecedented challenges in the years to come, and produce new research and instructional materials that will help city leaders. As part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies design team I developed a shield reflecting the architecture of the building’s rotunda, and generated a variety of assets used for City Leadership Initiative events.

Bloomberg Philanthropies sponsors and highlights a variety of organizations through digital and print sponsored advertisements. These sponsor ads were an opportunity to create engaging visual ads while serving the needs of both Bloomberg Philanthropies and the organizations they support.

LONDON WAYFINDER

Bloomberg Associates partnered with the city of London to expand The London Business Navigator Pilot — an initiative designed to help small-business owners to navigate funding opportunities and receive professional support. Renamed the London Business Hub Wayfinder, the program is free to use and offers small-business owners invaluable resources.

With the support of our team, the London Business Hub Wayfinder has been rebranded and a new marketing strategy has successfully been implemented both digitally and out-of-home. Due to the success of these efforts, the Wayfinder is now going to be expanded to serve additional boroughs throughout London.

CITY DATA ALLIANCE

Bloomberg Philanthropies’ City Data Alliance, a program that will identify 100 cities from across North and South America that are the most sophisticated at using data to make policy decisions and propel them to an even higher standard with executive education, direct-to-city coaching, and a focused investment to improve a critical data capacity. I worked with Bloomberg Philanthropies to design a logo, environmental graphics, and powerpoint templates for the inaugural City Data Alliance meeting.
